Diyanto's Working Concept

I still believe in initial ideas. But inevitably, I am also involved in external experiences during the actual working process. Such influences mainly come from human contacts and encounters. I also have to acknowledge various other sources of energy and inspiration like the theater, the world around me, my daily life, and my inclination to be inspired by texts (e.g. poems by Afrizal Malna, newspapers and magazines). When creative illusions arise they give rise to the sphere of possibilities, which or even overcome the limitations of the technical medium chosen. However, taking the limitless chances of expressions into consideration, I find the efforts toward self-expression most important even though they are based on a feeling of panic, which is caused by reality itself
